About the Role

Our busy Brisbane office is looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join the team. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience providing project support services such as project set-up, financial reporting, purchase orders and invoicing. The role also involves personal assistant support to the General Manager whilst also providing administration support to a broader team within a professional services environment.


Responsibilities & Experience

This is a full-time position that entails a diverse range of tasks. This will be underpinned by advanced Microsoft Office skills (strong Excel in particular with vlook ups and pivot tables) and prior experience in a high-level support role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Financial support including accounts payable functions, generation of purchase orders, financial reporting, reconciliations and processing of reimbursements
  • Project administration support to the Project Managers and Engineering Leads, including setting up projects, preparation of project-related documentation, tenders, contracts, technical reports and presentations, all to a very high professional standard
  • Corporate reception including switchboard, couriers, mail, visitor and client liaison
  • General administration support including training coordination, IT ground support, catering, induction of new staff, and coordination of office resources
  • Backup support to other Project Support Officer for leave coverage
  • Personal assistant support for the General Manager, including monthly executive report collation, travel bookings, calendar and client management
