Fyfe was involved at Bladin Point for over six years, providing both traditional and RPAS (drone) survey and aerial mapping for various site survey packages and contractors.
The Ichthys Project comprises the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin, off the north-west coast of Western Australia, a 820 kilometre offshore pipeline to a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant at Bladin Point, south-east of of Darwin. The project has production capacity of 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) per annum, and approximately 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak.
