Mark was appointed Executive Chair of Fyfe in 2019.
As Chair, Mark remains involved in business development and generating project opportunities for the company, as well as overseeing the Fyfe Board and being readily available to Fyfe staff and clients.
In his impressive 40-year career at the company, Mark has held various roles, including 14 years as Managing Director. He is motivated by the relationships he has developed with his staff and clients, and enjoys seeing both the company, and people flourish.
Mark is a Past President and Councillor at the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy and Past President of the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association. Mark holds membership with the Australian Institute of Energy; the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia and the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association.
Mark was recognised as the Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2014 Central Region Services category at the Entrepreneur Awards, an accolade which is one of the world’s most prestigious business awards and is held in more than 145 cities and over 60 countries worldwide. In 2021 Mark was recognised by the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association with the Outstanding Contribution Award and further recognised in 2024 by Australian Pipeline and Gas Association with Honorary Life Membership.
