Fyfe was engaged by the City of Playford to undertake the concept and detail road design for a proposed upgrade of One Tree Hill Road between Hannaford Hump Road and Shillabeer Road.
One Tree Hill Road provides a key road link between Tea Tree Gully and Gawler, and the section under consideration has a twisting and undulating alignment.
Our experienced road design team gave due consideration to Austroads Guidelines and Australian Standards for an 80 kph design speed, the limited road reserve width and the proximity of a number of significant trees has also informed our design process. Fyfe engaged the services of and worked with Subconsultants to undertake an assessment of existing trees and road pavement design.
